1. Basic Policy
Web ToolBox (the “Site”) appropriately handles information obtained as necessary to provide its services and strives not to use it unnecessarily beyond the stated purposes.
2. Access information
The Site may record access information such as pages viewed, tools used, referrer, device and browser information, country code determined from the source IP address, and bot detection results for service improvement, usage analysis, abuse prevention, and related purposes.
Raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored in the access-analytics database. The IP address is used to determine the country code and, together with the User-Agent, to generate an irreversible identifier. The access-analytics database stores the identifier and country code. Raw access-analytics logs are generally retained for 30 days, after which daily aggregate data is used.
3. Cookies and Session Information
The Site may use cookies or session information to maintain screen state, manage display language, support security measures, and identify visits for access analytics.
For CAPTCHA used when creating a schedule, verification information is temporarily stored in the session. CAPTCHA challenges are valid for five minutes, and information already used for verification cannot be reused.
4. Data handled by each tool
How data entered or selected in each tool is handled depends on the function. Some functions process data in the browser, while others temporarily or for a defined period store data on the server for processing or service delivery. See the information on each tool page for details.
5. Information handled by the scheduling tool
The scheduling tool stores the title, description, candidate dates and times, whether members may edit other members’ schedules, the creator’s email address and name when applicable, registered members’ names, email addresses and notes, response-symbol settings, each member’s responses, finalized date and time, and related information.
This information is used to create and manage schedules, register members, display and aggregate responses, finalize or change the final date and time, provide administrator and member-specific URLs, and send notification emails for invitations, confirmations, and changes.
Identification tokens for administrator and member-specific URLs are stored on the server as hash values for verification. Because anyone who knows a URL can perform actions according to that URL’s permissions, do not share these URLs with third parties.
Scheduling data is automatically deleted six months after creation regardless of the candidate dates or finalized date and time.
When notification emails are sent, the recipient email address and email content pass through the outbound mail server used by the Site and the recipient’s email service.
6. Inquiry information
We store the name, email address, inquiry category, and message submitted through the contact form for responding, verification, and service improvement. This information is retained for the period necessary to fulfill those purposes and is appropriately deleted when no longer needed.
7. Advertising and External Services
The Site may use advertising services, external libraries, CDNs, AI model distribution providers, and similar services. Communications with these services may transmit IP addresses, browser information, and related data.
This site may use Google AdSense to serve advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this site or other websites.
Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show relevant ads based on visits to this site and other sites. You can disable personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. Google Ads Settings

8. Disclosure to third parties
Except where required by law or in similar circumstances, we do not provide collected personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent.
9. Security measures
This site takes reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access to, leakage, alteration, loss, or other compromise of collected information.
10. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be revised in response to changes in the service, laws and regulations, or other circumstances. If there are material changes, appropriate notice will be provided on this site.
